Price list

In FabLab-Leuven the use of the machines is free for students and personnel of tje KU Leuven Association. You always need to bring your personnel or student card as your usage time on the machines will be logged. For our materials following prices are applicable.

For invoicing other tariffs are valid - this comes down to an extra of approximately 45% due to internal costs for invoices above 25€ // below 25€ there's an extra administration cost of 10€):

3mm = 2.00€
4mm = 2.50€
6mm = 3.00€
9mm = 4.00€

Plexi (PMMA)(60x30cm)
2mm = 5.00€
3mm = 7.00€
4mm = 9.00€
5mm = 11.00€
6mm = 13.00€

Sometimes we have smaller boards of transparent plexi in stock (approx. 60x20cm) and the price is half - you can always ask if we have them.

Coloured Plexi
3mm = 12.00€ (60x30cm)

1,5mm = 1.00€ (60x30cm)

Cutting plotter material
Sticker = 0.15€/cm (material is approx. 57 cm wide - we always have several colours)
T-shirt = 0.15€/cm (material is approx. 45 cm wide - we always have several colours)

3D printer Objet30 Prime*
0.50€/cm³ (for students and personnel of Association KU Leuven)
1.00€/cm³ (for external invoicing)
* For the Objet there is a standard start-up costs of 20ml

PLA / PETG = 0.10€/gr (for everybody)
FLEX / PVA = 0.15€/gr (for everybody)

3D printer Prusa SL1
0.30€/gr (for everybody)
* for Prusa SL1 there's a standard start-up costs of 20gr
* as from 01/10/2024 there will be an extra costs of 1 EUR per printed piece

Varia
Key chain rings = 0.25€/piece
Coloured paper160g (A4) = 0,20€/sheet
Coloured paper 160g (240x315mm) = 0,50€/sheet
Rainbow paper 200g (225x320mm) = 0,50€/sheet
Help with designing = 75€/hour

Commercial laser cutting is only possible through an appointment. For the laser cutter this means 0.5€ per minute laser time, with a minimum start-up cost of 10€.
